Shipping policy

Processing Time: We strive to ship all orders without a preferred delivery date within 24-48 business hours of receipt.  Processing times may be adjusted during holidays, peak shipping periods, carrier adjustments or severe weather.

Preferred Delivery Dates: Customers may select a preferred delivery date at checkout. We schedule shipments using carrier-estimated transit times and business days. Because transit times vary by destination, weekends, and carrier operations, Texas Pecan Cakes may adjust ship dates slightly to help protect product quality in transit.

Shipping Times: Shipping times vary by carrier, service level, and destination. Ground and Priority shipping time frames are estimates only and are not guaranteed by the carriers. For a carrier-guaranteed delivery service, customers must select an Air or Express shipping option.

Carrier Delays and Transit Responsibility: Once an order leaves our bakery, transit times are controlled by the carrier and are outside our control. We are not responsible for carrier delays, weather events, routing disruptions, missed scans, high-volume periods, or other transit-related service issues beyond our control.

Shipping Charges: Shipping charges are calculated based on total shipment weight, package size, shipping method selected, and destination ZIP code.

Shipping Methods: We offer a range of shipping services, subject to change, including USPS, FedEx Ground/Next Day, and UPS Ground/Next Day.

Free Shipping: Free ground shipping is available on orders over $50 delivered to the same delivery address.

Address Accuracy: Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout. Texas Pecan Cakes is not responsible for delays, losses, or additional charges resulting from incorrect or incomplete shipping information provided by the customer.

Tracking Information: Tracking numbers are emailed to the address provided at checkout once the order has shipped.

Refund Limitations: We cannot offer refunds for orders affected by theft, incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses, weather-related or holiday delays, or carrier delivery issues outside our control.

Quality and Damaged Orders: If you are not completely satisfied with the quality of your order upon arrival, or if your package arrives damaged, please contact Texas Pecan Cakes immediately (within 24 hours of delivery) with a detailed description and photographs of both the package and its contents. Please do not discard the package or contents, as they may be required to support a claim review.

Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Packages: Once a package has been transferred to the shipping carrier, delivery is subject to the carrier’s handling and network conditions. Texas Pecan Cakes is not responsible for packages that are lost, stolen, delayed, or damaged in transit or after delivery.

Shipping Insurance: Each shipment is insured for an amount equal to the value of the order. If an order is shipped in multiple boxes, the insured value may be allocated across those packages.
