At Texas Pecan Cakes, we take pride in the quality of our artisanal products and in shipping them with care. Because our cakes and other food items are perishable, all food sales are final except in cases where an item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrectly packaged.
We do not accept returns or exchanges for change-of-mind purchases, flavor preferences, gifting preferences, or customer ordering errors. Customers are responsible for reviewing their order carefully before checkout, including the selected product, cake flavor, size, quantity, shipping method, requested delivery date, and shipping address.
Due to the nature of perishable products, if your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery at sales@texaspecancakes.com or (512) 222-7054. To help us review the issue promptly, please include your order number and clear photos of the product and its packaging. In these verified cases, Texas Pecan Cakes, at its discrection, may provide a prepaid return shipping label that covers all return shipping costs, making returns free for the customer.
Once the issue is reviewed and verified, we will provide an appropriate remedy, which may include a replacement or a full refund. We do not offer exchanges for alternate flavors, different products, or other customer preference changes.
Customers may be able to select a preferred shipping or delivery date during checkout. Any selected date is a request only and is not a guaranteed delivery date by Texas Pecan Cakes. We schedule and ship orders using carrier estimated delivery dates and address validation information available at the time of shipment, and we make every reasonable effort to ship in accordance with those estimates. Once an order leaves our bakery, transit times are controlled by the carrier and are outside our control. We are not responsible for carrier delays, weather events, routing disruptions, missed scans, or other transit-related service issues.
Ground services are not guaranteed delivery services. USPS service standards are estimates and delivery times are not guaranteed, and similar non-guaranteed service limitations may apply to other carrier ground services. Only certain air or express services may include a carrier delivery guarantee, and any such guarantee is subject solely to the carrier’s terms, conditions, and service rules.
If a customer selects a non-guaranteed shipping method, including most ground services, delayed delivery does not qualify the order for a refund, return, exchange, or replacement solely due to late arrival. If a customer selects an eligible guaranteed express or air service, any service guarantee is limited to the carrier’s own policy and is not a separate guarantee by Texas Pecan Cakes.
Although we are not responsible for carrier performance after shipment, we are happy to assist customers with reasonable efforts to help resolve shipping-related issues, including package tracking, documentation, and carrier claim support where applicable. Assistance with a carrier issue does not create an obligation for Texas Pecan Cakes to issue a refund or replacement unless the product is confirmed to have arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect under this policy.
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout. Texas Pecan Cakes is not responsible for delays, non-delivery, loss, or additional charges resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer.
Unused non-food items in original packaging may be returned within 14 days of delivery. To request a non-food return, please contact sales@texaspecancakes.com. Return shipping costs for non-food items are the responsibility of the customer.
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days.
